Hippowdon Lv. X Rising Rivals 107/111

Hippowdon Lv. X is the first and only Hippowdon chase card, released in its debut generation. Its Sand Reset Poké-Power is very fascinating, only allowing you to use it once per game.

Sand Reset allows you to shuffle every card in play, aside from Pokémon, back into each player’s respective deck. This is a really cool Ability that might represent a sandstorm tearing up the entire playing field. The card also says to keep Supporters cards on the field, since, at the time, Supporter cards stayed next to the Active Pokémon for the entire turn they were played. This actually allows the Supporter card to be reused instead of being sent into the Discard Pile.

The Attack is pretty awful, especially for a Stage 3. Hopefully Hippowdon gets an ex soon.
