Jirachi V Astral Radiance 180/179
This Full Art Jirachi V is unique in that it was the only way to play Jirachi V for a long time. Released on May 27, 2022 in Astral Radiance, Jirachi V existed as a full art only, as the regular print was taken out of the set to be a promo. This is common, as Virizion V also received this same treatment in the same set. The issue is that the inevitable “Jirachi V Box” never released.
Virizion’s Promo print released in October 2022, a few months later. It wouldn’t be until August 2023 until Jirachi V was released as SWSH299. Even still, this was only in Europe, only reaching the U.S. in September 2024, according to PokeBeach. By this time, Jirachi only had a few months left until it rotated from Standard.
Luckily, Jirachi V isn’t particularly strong. It’s basically a global Exp. Share for Basic V. It’s a neat effect, but not particularly worth the deck space or 2-Prize liability.
