Pidgeot ex Obsidian Flames 225/197
The Special Illustration Rare of the very powerful Pidgeot ex was featured in Obsidian Flames. This card is a stylized artwork by Jerky, which matches the Illustration Rares of Pidgey and Pidgeotto.
The sign in the background of the artwork features the sign for Route 18. Although there is a Route 18 in Kalos and Unova, the artwork appears to match Kanto Route 18. The coastal road featured must be the Cycling Road, so the city is either Fuschia or Celadon. I would assume that this is Fuschia City since Celadon city isn’t on the coast.
In terms of competitive Ability, Pidgeot is one of the strongest Stage 2 ex cards printed in the Scarlet and Violet era, enabling Charizard ex to be a massive metagame threat.
