Claydol Celebrations 15/106

Claydol might be the most deep-cut card resurrected for the 25th anniversary Classic Collection. It isn't a particularly powerful Pokémon and it doesn't highlight any old mechanic. The reason why this card was chosen was that it was very, very playable during the Diamond and Pearl era.

Drawing cards until you have 6 in your hand is worthy of a Supporter card, so being able to do this turn after turn is absolutely absurd. Even more effective is that Claydol lets you put up to two cards at the bottom of the deck before you draw. This pushes the card over the top, since you can save untimely cards at the bottom of the deck until you need them later on in the game. This lets you draw even more cards. Kindly, Claydol only forces you to put back one if you have lots of useful cards already. Cosmic Power is one of the greatest Abilities ever made.
